Southwest Brushetta Recipe
We sliced up some French bread, brushed it with olive oil and grilled until toasty and pretty!
- Three Roma tomatoes seeded and diced
- 1/2 of a firm avocado cut into a dice
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves finely chopped (measure before chopping)
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablesppons Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper

Oh man, this stuff was good! Bruschetta has been a stable at our house for years. We just started giving it a Southwest flair by adding in some diced avocado and swapping the basil out with cilantro.
After the bread was off the grill we put on some this sliced pork steaks. I like these much better than regular thin cut pork chops.
Pork Steak Dry Rub Recipe
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon granulated onion
We put it all together and had a great feast at home.
